The company fits the Kit into the Activa with Li ion battery which would cost 45K. The petrol engine will be scrapped for 2K. The company claims the range of retrofit vehicle will be 72 Kms and would reach a top speed of 75Kms along with pillion raider. One can monitor the health of the vehicle on Starya app. Company provides 2yrs warranty on Motor, 1yr controller and transmission belt warranty and 3 yrs battery warranty.

The registration certificate(RC) of the scooter will be renewed by RTO and Starya Mobility will take complete care of all the RTO re-registration formalities. Your vehicle will have same number but the number plate changes to green from white. Starya Retrofit kit can technically convert any two wheel gearless scooters. But currently they are taking Govt. approvals for Honda Activa, TVS Jupiter, Honda Dio, and Suzuki Access Retrofitment only.
